Cancellation Policy
Last updated October 5, 2026
A ride or delivery that is cancelled after a driver has accepted it wastes that person's time and fuel. To keep PaddiRide dependable for everyone, cancelling an accepted ride or dispatch delivery — whether you are the rider, the requester, the driver or the dispatch rider — temporarily pauses your ability to book and to be booked.
| What happened | Restriction |
|---|---|
| You cancel an accepted ride or delivery | 2 hours |
| You cancel 2 accepted rides or deliveries within 24 hours | 3 days |
| You cancel 4 accepted rides or deliveries within 7 days | 1 week |
- While restricted you cannot request rides or deliveries, and drivers and dispatch riders are not shown new requests or matched to you.
- Rides and deliveries are counted together. A longer restriction is never shortened by a shorter one that follows it.
- Cancelling before a driver has accepted is free and has no effect on your account.
- Your home screen shows the restriction, the reason for it and a live countdown to when it ends. It lifts automatically.
- Free cancellations:cancelling within 2 minutes of being matched is free. A driver or dispatch rider whose customer never shows up can cancel with “Rider didn't show up” at no penalty once they have waited about 5 minutes after arriving.
- Trips already in progress are not affected. If you believe a restriction was applied in error, contact support and our team can lift it early.
